Boating in the Snake river

When we went to Idaho this summer we took our little fishing boat and went boating in the snake river. We brought rafts for the kids to float in behind us. They had so much fun and it was beautiful!! One of the highlights of our trip.
We also went to a fun little museum that the kids really liked

The kids under the huge mammoth

All the kids

Caden seeing if his footprints match up

Caden was seeing if it would bite him.

The girls wanted these, they were made by the Indians to carry their babies in. They were super cute!

Creepy, as Aspen would say :) Bones!

Playing computer games with grandma

Aspen and Nick relaxing, watching TV. They are super cute together!- best of pals when they get to see each other.

Dave "doing his homework" He is getting pretty good at doing it in his sleep! or something :) Poor guy!!

Playing word games with grandma on her kindle. Kaylee liked playing it with her. I'm pretty sure in this picture they were ready to go swimming. They don't usually wear their goggles like that all day.

Drew and Kaylee in one raft, and Nick and Aspen in the other one, being pulled behind the boat.

Caden with his pirate eye

Gaining speed! Look at those smiles- they loved this!

Caden even drove them.

Briggs having a great time.

I think we lost Nick :) not really, he got cold and wanted to come in the boat.

Aspen - I love this girl!

All along the one side of the river along the cliff were these bird mud nests. They were super cool looking.

How pretty. Just beyond the bridge and around the bend is where Evil Knievel tried to jump his motorcycle across the river.

Briggs was cuddling Caden.

This was super fun, but we went in the evening and so it was a little chilly. When the sun went down the kids got cold so we weren't able to go as far as we would have liked. Maybe next time :)

  1. Thank you for posting these pictures Andrea! It allows me to relive what a fun time it was to be there with everyone. There is nothing more special than family.
