The old mans Birthday

This past week Dave had his birthday and turned 31! Kaylee was nice enough to make him a nice card that she spent a lot of time on that said: dear dad, you are getting old because you are 31! He is such a good sport!
He even took a beating from his own kids with his own birthday balloons! :)

They all gained up on him. He is such a great dad! We love him!

Opening his present from his friend Dan

Each of the kids got to pick out a present at the dollar store for their dad.
Kaylee got him this blow gun. Right after this picture he nailed me right in the throat! Hes a pretty good shot!

Briggs liked to sit on the balloons then fall off!

Trying out the present Aspen gave him...

His very own whoopee cushion!

Caden was so cute at the store trying to pick out just the right thing that his dad would love. When it finally came down to it, he found something that dad would love and that he could share with Caden, because Caden loved it to. He ended up getting him some dinosaur stickers. :)
Best of buds right here.... with their stickers on their shirts- sharing!

Dave wanted homemade tapioca pudding for his cake this year. Ive never made it, and didn't have a lot of time since he just told me the night before his birthday, so I wasn't able to track down the real, big tapioca, I think you must have to get them from a specialty store. Luckily, I did find some little ones that I was able to make. He said it turned out good. I hope he liked it!!
Blowing out his 3+1 candles =31

Honestly, love this guy to pieces and I am so excited for the day he is done with school so we can spend more time together and so he can get a job he enjoys and wont make his body feel even older than 31. Keep up the good work Hun, WE LOVE YOU!!!

  1. He looks like a pretty satisfied dad. At least he knows what is important -- family. I'll be happy too when school is done and he gets a better job. So sad that the only Saturday he works in two years happens to fall on his birthday. :( But what a perfect ending to the hard day of work.
