Our little scientist

Kaylee had to do a science project for the science fair at school a few weeks ago. She was super excited. So was her dad. He had big plans and super fun ideas, but much to his disappointment the 1st graders couldn't have open flame in the school (weird huh?) so a lot of his plans were out the door. Kaylee decided she wanted to do a volcano. She is lucky to have such a great dad who likes to do this kind of stuff.

Here's the two of them working on her poster.

Perfecting the recipe for a great explosion.

The finished product ready to go to school. We made homemade play dough then painted it. She did really good. She named it her "bubbly volcano"

Showing it off at school

Putting on a show for the spectators at the fair that night.

  2. way to go Kaylee! I'm sure you had the best science project there. No doubt your dad had a fun time helping you too.
