A visit from cousins

Conference weekend Dave's sister Amelia and her family came to Utah for a visit. Its always fun getting together to visit and to let the kids play. They came out to our house on Saturday and of course the kids all wanted to head out for a motorcycle ride. They all did really good especially since it was the first time they have been out this year.

Dave riding his :-) This was hilarious!! Twix was getting a little cranky and liked to buck the kids off so Dave had enough and baled on. It was so funny. Twix took off a bucking and running. The problem is we have just kinda rigged the saddle and bridle and everything for the kids so its not exactly set up to hold an adult. Its missing the back cinch so as Twix would buck and run the saddle would slide more and more forward and eventually be standing up straight on her neck with Dave tipped over the front- upside down holding himself up by his arms. I was laughing too hard to get out the camera so this was the best picture I got. He did great riding her out until the saddle fell off then he would fix it and do it again until she was done bucking. It was a good laugh for all of us. Thanks Hunny!! Your awesome! (he might possibly kill me or divorce me over this :)

This was too funny not to get a picture of. Aspen on her little motorcycle then the bid kids on the little pony and little 4 wheeler.

The kids - especially Nick and Drew spent most of the day in the chicken coop chasing and catching chickens. Drew was like a professional Chicken catcher. He was awesome!

We sure love the cousins to venture clear out to the boon hills to come visit us. Thanks Andy and Amelia!! Now we will start working on the other ones. (Hint, hint, Kimball!!!!)
