A couple of weeks ago we spent the day helping or more watching brand my dads calves. The kids always get a kick out of it and it was a beautiful day!

My brother Rileys hound dog had some puppies in the middle of the hay stack and the kids would slither inside to the middle to see them. They were super cute. It was a really tight squeeze.

Briggs was good all day. He was a little sad at times that he couldn't go in the pen with the big kids.

Kaylee was the record keeper for the day. She would mark off every calf and mark if it was a bull of heifer calf. She seriously did an amazing job!! She was right on it and never missed a calf! Sometimes it even got a little tricky because they had a few ropers so she would have to run from one to the other but she did awesome!!! She gave it to me for 2 mins while she got a drink and I got distracted and missed one. (don't worry I got it later :) She did great.

Thanks dad for entertaining us for the day! well, not really he and my mom found a sweet camp trailer in Logan so they left us to it and went and bought a trailer - Which I am super glad about. We are going to try to get them out camping with us more often. Although it is hard now between Sticks high school rodeo and all the different series Alexa is signed up for! They are pretty much double booked every weekend!!! :)
