Smith family Christmas party

One of our most anticipated Christmas traditions is the Smith family Christmas party.  Its so fun for the kids to see all of their cousins, and for me to see my cousins and aunts and the whole family.  I remember these parties from when I was the age of my kids - its super crazy to me!

Aspen with Santa

trying not to smile.

Yea, a big my little pony that Santa brought her.

Kaylees turn

And Caden... Santas waiting to hear if hes been naughty or nice....

He was so funny. He jumped up on Santas lap and gave this cheesy smile for the longest time. I guess he wanted to make sure everyone that wanted a picture of him had enough time to get one  :)

Surprise.... horse stuff

And now Briggs turn

He was deciding if he liked Santa or not :)

But since he gave him a present he decided he was ok.

Yes, a airplane and helicopter that you can take apart and put back together.  He loves it.

Nothing better than a tractor and trailer for a little 2 yr old boy!

And these are the two that are responsible for all of this. Grandma and Grandpa Smith. We love them so much!!!

Still cracking jokes and sitting on Santas lap together. I love it!

Briggs and his tractor

Ha ha.. Alexa and Kandice were sitting by each other so I tied their hair together.  :)

Caden loves this toy

My amazing parents.

HA HA HA....

School Christmas sing

I look forward to the school Christmas sing each year.  The kids start learning their songs so early and go around the house practicing them so they can know them good for this cute little concert.

Trip to temple square to see the lights

In December we made a family trip to Temple square to see the lights.  The UTA frontrunner had barely opened so we decided to ride the train up to Salt Lake.  The kids were so excited to ride the train.

Watching, waiting for the train to come

More waiting at the bus stop

Riding in the train.

Briggs with his awesome hair do after wearing a hat.

Kaylee and Briggs, best buds

We went to the temple grounds and had some hot chocolate... it was way too hot and burned  Aspens mouth :(

Complete with marshmellows

The girls

Trying to get a picture with the temple, but Aspen was obviously still upset about burning her mouth with the hot chocolate.

Beautiful!!

Happy kids.

Caden hanging to the grips in the trax train back to the bus stop. The kids thought that was way fun too.

Briggs had to try it too

Briggs with his very favorite person in the whole world! his dad.

When we were decorating the Christmas tree a few days earlier Caden got some sap in his hair and it was bugging him so he decided to pull out his hair that has it in it on the way up.  He was left with 2 big bald spots.

Me, Aspen, Caden.

Love our kidos!!!
